Why I created this book

When I started my fat loss journey, I thought that to lose body fat I had to cut out all the ‘bad food’ I ate and swap it for healthy food. I thought I had to give up alcohol completely, stop eating meals out and give up all the foods I enjoyed like chocolate and pizza. I lived this life for a few years and it was bloody miserable.

Yes, I got lean but it wasn’t sustainable as I had no life outside of fitness. If I did have a meal out for someone’s Birthday, I would think I have ruined my results as it wasn’t part of the plan and punish myself with cardio. 

Back then there wasn’t any information on what a calorie deficit was or even anything about flexible dieting. You were either on a diet plan eating chicken and veg or going off plan when actually you were just living life.

Fast forward to now where I am more educated on nutrition and have been flexible dieting for a while now and it has completely changed my life. I no longer say no to meals out or drive the car on a girl’s night out because I can’t have a glass of wine as it isn’t on the plan. I eat a bar of chocolate if I fancy one and have the odd pizza. I now have food freedom and I am no longer married to a diet plan.

I want you to learn how to have a flexible lifestyle and have food freedom too. I want you to start saying ‘yes’ more often to having a girl’s night out as life is far too short to keep saying no because you are on a diet.  

Flexible dieting changed my life and it could change yours too.
