I’ve trained for a long time on and off and enjoy weight lifting which I had done consistently for three years or more, but I never seem to be progressing and finding that my figure never changed. During lockdown I continued exercising as much as I could and through spending more time on social media, seen lots of people getting results I wanted to see in myself. I thought it must be really challenging as I feel I always trained hard. I seen a result of someone I knew who were trained by Lift Fitness, which gave me confidence that I could also see more results than I was getting by myself, so I reached out and haven’t turned back.I’ve always trained but followed training plans which changed frequently and never really focused on nutrition. Only trying to eat low calories to lose weight, which just resulted in binge days, lack of energy and although I was slim, couldn’t build muscle.Consistency and accountability are key areas that I struggled with, which Lift Fitness helps with so much! Regular check ins, even on challenging weeks and setting goals that are achievable. I trained hard but the plans I followed weren’t bespoke to me and areas I wanted to focus on, Lift Fitness has helped me to progress in my lifts and build muscle. I also ate very little, always dieting and wasn’t fuelling myself which following the nutritional advice has helped me to fuel myself to see results.I have gained muscle, with is my greatest achievement. I also did a lean down for my birthday and was very pleased with the results.I’m also so much more confident in the gym to perform exercises, with support of the video talk throughs to improve different movements. I also feel comfortable in my own body and leant to compare me with me!The steps have been a challenge where I’ve needed to push myself to find time to go out and walk. I sit at a desk most of the day and with working from home, I don’t walk to the office etc so some days I’ve struggled to meet my goal.The biggest thing that I’ve learnt from being with Lift Fitness is focusing on MY progress and MY results. Also, being consistent to a plan designed for me and my circumstances, as well as being accountable. I’ve learnt how to fuel my body for the right stage I’m working on and the macros needed. I was so unhappy in the way I looked and in the way I felt, I had no energy or motivation and ended up in such a rut. A friend was already with a Michelle and was doing amazing and felt amazing so I started looking into lift fitness and knew I had to try it.I’ve tried so many different diets like weight watchers, slimming world, juice plus, slim fast any fad diet that I came across and I failed on all of them, I couldn’t stick to them they became so restrictive and I felt I didn’t have a life as I was always on a diet.Since working with Michelle she’s taught me a new outlook on food and being on a diet. I’m no longer on a diet, l but living a happier and healthier lifestyle.I’ve been with Michelle since January 2021 and have lost 3 stone in weight and endless inch’s. But I’ve also gained muscles which I never thought I’d have and my confidence has grown massively in this time.Throughout my journey in the last year, hasn’t been easy and I’ve had plenty bumps along the way, I let things slip quite easily but Michelle is brilliant with me and her straight talking works a treat with me to put into perspective of why I starting this and how far I’ve come to let things slip.I’ve learnt in the last year that, I can do this. Where I’ve never had the confidence to feel that I can achieve my goals, or had the full support of someone like Michelle, she’s taught me that it doesn’t matter that you’ve slipped up, had a gain in weight etc, she fills up with support and confidence to brush it off and start again. There’s nothing wrong with that we are all human, it isn’t about being perfect all the time but having the confidence to keep going and remember how it makes you feel. I had been trying to lose weight for a while, I hit 50 & all of a sudden my belly area was seriously expanding, I was also going through the menopause & basically I felt & looked disgusting & was extremely unhappy how I looked.I came across Lift Fitness on Facebook, someone I knew shared something & was amazed at the results people were getting, we were on lockdown at the time & I just thought go for it & I am super glad I did.I have tried all sorts of diets in the past like slimming World which didn’t work for me as I couldn’t attend all the classes due to my shift pattern, I tried the egg diet, fasting all sorts of silly diets that were not working for me as they were too restrictive & simply not doable.Since working with Michelle I have learnt how to track calories, learnt to eat better as nothing is off limits, the importance of protein & other macros, how important it is to drink water, I have learnt how to exercise & weight train & how important that is. I have also learnt that you definitely can fit it in with working full time as I do it online around my working week, I love that I don’t need to attend classes or gyms to get good results.I had an initial goal of 64kg which I smashed then I went on to my next goal which was to reach 60kg which I also smashed, my starting weight was 82.55kg, so reaching 60kg was a massive moment in my life , one I would never had reached without the help of Michelle & Lift Fitness. I went from a size 16\/18 to a size 8\/10 and I am super proud of myself & super grateful for Michelle’s support.
I am much more body confidence than I have ever been even to wear a bikini on holidays.The most challenging part for me was getting my head around exactly how much food I could eat & that nothing was off limits.I have learnt that a Coach was firstly the exact support I needed to be able to get this far, I definitely need to be accountable. I have learnt to enjoy food while losing weight, I also love that it’s all online as I know I would have difficulty attending classes & gyms.

At the end of 2020 I realised that I was really unhappy with not only how I looked but how I felt and how I lived my everyday life! So I made a New Years resolution to lose 2 stone, so I began to exercise and cut “bad” foods out of my diet, as all resolutions go it lasted about 2-3 weeks! And I was back to my old ways of eating all day and not moving from the sofa!It got to March and I was still unhappy but not doing anything about it and that’s when I decided that I needed help with my weight loss\/fitness journey! So my mum told me about Lift Fitness and how I could get the help and support that I needed.I have tried to diet and exercise but quickly gave up because I didn’t enjoy exercising and just wanted to eat chocolate and cake all day! I didn’t have enough motivation to keep going by myself and needed someone to hold me accountable.The biggest change since starting with Lift Fitness has been my mindset on how I think about food and fitness! Before joining with Lift Fitness I hated exercise and wouldn’t even want to get up to walk to the fridge! But since starting with Michelle I now enjoy exercising and like how good I feel afterwards.The results since starting with Lift Fitness have been amazing! I was morbidly over weight, in pain with my knees and back with frequent trips to A&E with stomach and gallstones issues I had given up on life. I barely left my house and would make excuses last minute to get out of going anywhere as was ashamed and worried over everything. Will people look at me, will I fit around tables or be too heavy for the seats.I saw a FB post through a friend and the result pictures looked great but I felt they weren’t anywhere near the size I was and it was great for toning but losing 9+ stone is another story. I messaged Michelle and she asked me some questions about what I’ve tried before\u00a0 and I’d tried EVERYTHING out there from diet pills, lotions, drinks, supplements, diet clubs, fasting and all I had left to try was surgery with being my size that was a scary thought. Michelle answered all my queries and told me it’s not quick fix or a magic plan and if I put in the effort it would pay off, I had nothing to lose so I joined up.I’m nearly a year in and my life has dramatically changed, I have lost 5 dress sizes, 4st 1lb in weight, no longerer have any knee pain, better digestion and no gallstone attacks, sleeping pattern has improved, less skin break outs and I even went and got a job working with the public!!! Me!!!The most challenging part of the plan was Some of the exercises because of my size but Michelle would give me alternatives and talk me through anything I wasn’t comfortable about and was only a text away. At the beginning of the pandemic I got to thinking that I really need to improve my life style and shift some weight. I tried on my own but didn’t get far and seen Michelle via Facebook so messaged her.I have tried the typical diets…. very low calories, salads, removing any type of ‘bad’ food.My mindset have changed the most. I now know there is no quick fix and I don’t need to remove anything from my diet, I can have a take away and chocolate and still see results.I lost around 2 stone all together and I lost so many cms!! Went from a size 18\/20 to now a 14\/16 and no o longer hide away in baggy clothes.The most challenging part was the motivation, but you soon learn you won’t have the motivation all the time, it’s the dedication that gets the results.I have learned that doing weights won’t make you masculine, you don’t need cardio to lose weight and you don’t need to cut out chocolate or what I would have usually called unhealthy foods.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I first joined Lift Fitness as I was at a point of getting nowhere and needed that push of checking in to keep me accountable.I had a few friends who was with Michelle at the time and seeing they’re results really gave me the push I needed to contact her and I’m so glad I did.I have trained in the past without a personal trainer\/online coach and although I can lose weight by myself I never really got to the shape I wanted and to lose the weight. My journey started with Lift Fitness in October 2020 after struggling with dieting and trust me I’ve tried everything and nothing seemed to work.I saw transformation pictures that my friend had during her time with Lift Fitness and thought I’d give it a go. After a very slow start I actually started to enjoy it and didn’t feel like I was on a diet at all. I’d gone from sitting around feeling sorry for myself (whilst eating a bag of M&M crispys) to working out at every opportunity I got because I really enjoyed it and it became a part of my lifestyle.Michelle and the Lift Fitness team were fab all the way through the support you get is just amazing.Don’t for one second think it was easy because it was far from it, I had and still have really bad days and really good days but it was\/is worth it.In April I had an operation and was unable to train for 10-12weeks and I just couldn’t get back into my training regime and could feel myself slipping down the same path I had before I first joined and knew I had to do something about it as the pounds were just piling on and who better to get me back on track than Michelle and the Lift Fitness team.This time has been allot harder and I’ve had to push myself so much and cried thinking I couldn’t do it but it’s been so worth it with the result you get. I would never go with anyone else because what Michelle and the Lift Fitness team do is amazing.I’ve learnt that you can eat pretty much anything but you need to learn how to balance it. I started with Michelle back in May 2020. A few months into lockdown had me put on quite a bit of weight.I have tried a lot of diets in the past, Slimming world, 5:2, 1200 calories a day. None of which I find are sustainable. I’d seen the results Michelle’s other clients had had so I decided to join Lift Fitness and it’s the best thing I’ve done.I’ve learnt that I can get the results that I want but still have a life. Michelle has taught me that no foods are off limits. I don’t have to stay away from carbs which I love! The hardest part for me was weekends but with Michelle’s knowledge I know what to do through the week if I’m out on the weekend and I can still get good results.I’ve always gone to the gym but would spend an hour doing cardio because I was scared of the weights.
